   In early 2015, members of Iron Workers Local 383 voted to purchase 4.26 acres of land located on the northeast side of Madison in the CIC Industrial Park. The hopes were to build a training center and hall to call our own.

   Recent changes to the technical college system have made it near impossible to schedule training at the level our members and contractors expect. And so it was done. On July 9, 2015, the purchase was complete and Iron Workers Local 383 are now the owners of two lots located at the corner of Manufacturers Drive and Hanson Road.

   With the wage and benefit package increase effective June 5, 2016, members voted to allocate a portion of the raise towards the new hall and training center. 

     Ground was broke on July 18, 2016 and we officially moved on March 10, 2017.
